Nichrome 60 Heating Coil

Nichrome60 (Cr15Ni60) Heating Coil is commonly used as a resistance heater. As electric heating coil, it is an accepted material for heating devices operating up to 1000 ℃(1850F). This encompasses most pluggable power cord domestic heating appliances and those heating units of medium temperatures which do not require the unsurpassed quality of Ni80-Cr20 alloy.

Nichrome 60 Heating Coil is specified in resistance, volt-amps (watts), outside diameter (OD), wire diameter and pitch or coils per unit length. The heating coil can be manufactured according to customer's requirements.

Applications Nichrome 60 Heating Coil: Large diameter nichrome heating coils are used within plastic injection molding, blow molding machines, autoclaves, industrial paint booths, food processing equipment, and environmental chambers. Consumer applications include hair dryers, residential space heaters, electric ovens, and electric central heating systems.

   Nichrome Heating Coils have many advantages such as deformation ability, thermal stability, mechanical character, shockproof ability in thermal state and anti-oxidization. For heating, resistance Heating Coil must be stable in air when hot.
   Nichrome Heating Coil forms a protective layer of chromium oxide when it is heated for the first time. Material beneath the layer will not oxidize, preventing the Heating Coil from breaking or burning out. Due to Nichrome Heating Coil's relatively high resistivity and resistance to oxidation at high temperatures,         Nichrome Heating Coil is widely used in heating elements, electric furnace heating and heat-treating processes in the chemical, mechanical, metallurgical and defense industries, such as in hair dryers, electric ovens, toasters, vacuum coating, inner components of vacuum valves, etching resistor, brake resistor, tube heater, sealer, boiler and even electronic cigarettes.
