High temperature Resistance Heating Wire
FeCrAl High temperature Resistance Heating Wire has high resistance, low temperature coefficient of electric resistance, high operating temperature(1415° C), and good corrosion resistance under high temperature, especially under the atmosphere containing and/or sulfides.
Our FeCrAl alloy wire and strip haveoutstanding thermal stability and mechanical properties by applying the following techniques:
1. Applying the double electro slag refining technique and special control inclusion technique.
2. Adding rare earth element: increase the FeCrAl alloy's whole properties, such as max working temperature and continuousworking life.
The FeCrAl alloy wire and strip received favorable comments from Japan, US and Europe market.

Two Series of product:

FeCrAl electrical Resistance heating wires has less hot strength than nickel alloys but much higher melting point and lower price. After being heated the alloy's plasticity becomes bad, easy brittleness, not to be easy to weld. However, if can be reasonably used, it also be a kind of ideal electric heating material.These electrical heating wires are made of iron chromium aluminum base alloys containing small amounts of reactive elements such as yttrium and zirconium. The high aluminum content, in combination with the high chromium content causes the scaling temperature to increase up to 1415 C (2600F ).
FeCrAl electrical resistance heating wire also has excellent oxidation properties at 800-1300° C because of the formation of a highly protective Al2O3 scale.They are used in many applications, such as industrial electric furnace, household electrical appliance, electrical oven, electrical heater, infrared settings and far infrared ray device.
