G.657 single mode fiber has better resistance to macro bendingproperty, Is a kind of the low water peak fiberwhich is not sensitive tobending, can make full use of O + S + C + L band (1260 ~ 1625 nm) totransmission. Having lower polarization mode dispersion (PMD), can meetthe requirements of high speed and long distances. G.657 single modefiber has two categories: G657 A1 and G 657 A2, mainly used for shortfiber optic cable with special purpose, great performance on O + S + C +L band; FTTX high speed light routing; can also be used for cable whichrequire a small bending radius.
